How does Santa fund his operation? He has a staff of thousands (if not tens of thousands) of elves for which he has to provide substance and lodging, he produces billions of toys a year which he has to obtain the base materials for and then store somewhere, and he has to generate enough energy to travel at near light speed for one night a year to deliver all those toys.
Anyway, these are the types of questions that lead to a comic like today's. Assuming Santa is telling the truth, and we have no reason to doubt him, his only income appears to be the milk and cookies he receives at Christmas. Making tithing settlement in the North Pole First Ward an awkward event.
I love this missionary elves! Great Idea!
ReplyDeleteEveryone knows that Santa's power comes from magic, Christmas cheer, and dew drops. Duh. Also, there are two things I really like about this cartoon: the missionary plaques in the background and the way you have drawn such a guilty looking smile on santa's face. Good work.
ReplyDeleteThis comic is hilarious. The missionary elves are perfect. You could do a whole series of comics about the NP 1st Ward itself.
ReplyDeleteYes! I agree with Eric. More cartoons about the North Pole 1st ward.
ReplyDeleteDitto to Joel's comment. Merry Christmas! :)
ReplyDeletethe NP 1st ward has raindeer races instead of softball tourniments. It would be fun to see a flying raindeer race.
ReplyDeleteNP 1st ward service project, helping Santa dig coal for all the bad kids.
NP 1st ward Eagle Scout Project is designing and building a new toys for Santa to give out.
the NP YM can help take care of the baby raindeer as a service project.
Any other ideas?
I would hate to be the NP 1st Ward EQ President and get a call from Santa asking help for moving to a bigger warehouse, or moving the coal pile.
