A Book of Mormon Apart

When I came up with the idea for this gag, my real challenge was massaging the text so that the young man didn't come across as some sort of creep. I'm not sure what distance Stake Dance chaperons are instructing their charges to separate to these days, but I hope it's no longer "a Book of Mormon apart." Because that could get a little too close for comfort.

  1. Funny comic. In my day it was the bible--both Old and New Testaments, preferably large-print edition.

What's really amazing is that you could fit an entire library onto an 8-gb memory card that's only 1 mm thick (which is what I'd be bringing to a stake dance if I were a teenager these days).

  2. He still kinda comes across as a creep. I think because the girl next to him doesn't look to happy to be slow-dancing with him soon. You should make her face a little more pleading: like she wants that "Book of Mormon" between them.

  3. I am looking forward to the day when you are in charge of advertising for a Stake Dance and you can display this comic on the posters.
