No TV, internet, or music: there is nothing worst than being bedridden as a missionary.

Christmas Caroling 4
Merry Christmas, everyone!
(And in a particularly nice coincidence, you can read the one caroling joke that didn't make it onto this blog over the past month at deseretnews.com.)

North Pole 1st Ward Basketball Team
Last April, I swore off ward basketball jokes. This after I had produced over a dozen of them for my March Madness series of gags. I guess old habits are hard to break.

Christmas Caroling 3
This never happened on my mission. If memory serves me, our little band of missionary carolers was received as if we were the Mormon Tabernacle Choir when we performed on the streets of Ljubljana. This had nothing to do with me and everything to do with the missionaries that surrounded me and drowned out my warbles.

Middle Earth
Guess what comes out tomorrow? Yep, The Hobbit 2: Peter Jackson's Quest for a Mountain Full of Money.* The only problem with all these awesome, geek-friendly movies these days is that I'm struggling to keep up with them. For example, I only got out to 62.5 percent of the movies I was excited to see this summer--that's barely a passing grade!
*This may not be the actual title--I was too lazy to look it up to be sure.

Christmas Caroling
I remember caroling as a missionary as a lot of fun. It probably took a bit of coaxing on someone's part to get me to do it, though.
