Authentic Reenactment

Last summer, my wife and I had the opportunity to be a "ma" and "pa" on a youth pioneer trek. Whenever such chances come my way, I jump on them because I figure every new opportunity in the church is an opportunity for new gags.

Our family included a boy with a foot in a boot. Every day, we'd begin with him walking about as much as he was able before he ended up in the cart. He had a great attitude about the whole thing and his circumstance resulted in today's comic, featured in the July issue of the New Era--a win, win!
