(Alas, I can't take credit for this brilliant idea of a gag. I heard it nearly fully formed in an early-morning stake priesthood meeting from some youth from another ward. I wish I knew who to credit it to, but like I said it was early-morning and I wasn't quite that awake yet.)

Reminds me of a time when I was invited to speak to a meeting of missionaries as a recent convert... I arrived to find them engaged in an icebreaker activity that involved standing up and telling jokes.

It's amazing how well our missionary efforts work when you remember just how young (and often immature) our missionary force is.
DeleteJust so. I recall the surprise at my very first lesson that I was being taught by 2 young men whose combined age was less than mine... and I was supposed to call them 'Elder' :)
