Thanks to all of the dedicated leaders that choose to go without air conditioning, a comfortable bed and indoor plumbing to ensure the next generation of camp leaders will know how to do the same.

Sudden Death

For the past two years, my missionary comic strip has been running in the Deseret News. Sadly, that's coming to an end at the end of the month. (This is the problem with a strip tracking a missionary through his two-year mission--it has to end.) I've enjoyed immensely seeing my work in the paper and I'm going to be awfully sad to close that chapter in my cartooning career, but I suppose nothing lasts forever.

Teaching Pools

As a missionary, I spent 90 percent of my time fretting over my teaching pool. I doubt there was ever a time during my two years where I was content with the size of it. I suspect if Elder Meyer had ever seen my pool he would have responded in much the same way he does in today's strip.
