Sudden Death

For the past two years, my missionary comic strip has been running in the Deseret News. Sadly, that's coming to an end at the end of the month. (This is the problem with a strip tracking a missionary through his two-year mission--it has to end.) I've enjoyed immensely seeing my work in the paper and I'm going to be awfully sad to close that chapter in my cartooning career, but I suppose nothing lasts forever.

    You could always record the continuing post-mission adventures of elder van dyke

      I've played with that idea from time to time, but after the hyper-reality of a mission, a comic strip about post-mission life might seem rather pedestrian.

      Wind forward a few years and have Van Dyke called to the Mission Presidency and see how he likes having to guide these pesky elders!
