Pokemon Go!

This Pokemon Go! thing is such a sensation, that you can be sure any cartoonist worth his or her salt is going to run a gag about it sometime soon.* Today's comic is my contribution (with an assist from faithful reader Madalyn C.).

    The LDS meetinghouse in Crewe is a Pokestop, great delight to our youngsters... and caused my daughter to walk over a mile to get there (she'd had to work the first Sunday Pokemon was out so hadn't come with me)!

      We were just in Crewe a couple of weeks ago and drove by the church there!

      Same goes for any other reader, if in Crewe on Sunday we'd be delighted to see you. Look out for a cuddly sister with long grey hair (sometimes in a bun).

    My family saw a sign on the highway: "Drive now, catch Pokemon later." I don't really get why this is a thing, though.

      Because people are driving and catching Pokémon at the same time and people are getting hurt
