Wake Up Hymn!

It's been my experience that most high councilors give great talks. Why, then, is there this stereotype in the Church that it's the other way?

    I've found that they're 100% hit or miss. Either they're one of the best talks I'll hear all year, or they need to go take a course in public speaking.

      I wonder what an LDS course on public speaking might look like. (This might be the seed to a future gag...)

      Given that I teach students how to give presentations, I quite often sit in sacrament meetings getting distracted with dreams of giving a class at church!

    Wake-up hymn seems appropriate for those that participated in a New Year party and have the early block. Thank goodness most stakes have postponed fast Sunday until next week.

      Yeah, moving from a 1:00 PM start time to a 9:00 AM start time would be particularly brutal. A move from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, however, was pure bliss!
