Speak Your Language

We got in trouble every time we tried to speak our language in the MTC cafeteria. (Although to their credit, the cafeteria workers were infinitely more patient than the one featured in today's strip.)

    The MTC cafeteria nowadays doesn't require any human interaction - you check in with your missionary ID, for statistical purposes, get in line for the food you want, then they've already set it out for you on plates. You only need to talk to any of the workers if you have special dietary preferences or restrictions. Being missionaries, though, "thank you" is frequently uttered.

      I had no idea. My missionary strip becomes more outdated every passing day.
