Prison Break!

It's been a couple of years since I featured this particular missionary companionship. I figured it's about time to dust them off.

The next time a Deacons' Quorum Advisor wants to organize a temple trip, try telling the boys that you're planning a spirit prison break and want their help and I guarantee that you'll get great participation.

I was a little disappointed that none of my comic book loving readers commented on the numerous Easter eggs I left in last week's comic. Maybe my comic strip loving readers can identify what's significant about Apartment 3-G.

  1. Wow, I never thought I'd ever react to a Latter-day Saint-related pun the way I just did! XD
I'm-a gon' share this with ALL my wardies, no doubt about it!

Here's a thought: I wonder if one could do anything with that one "notorious" verse early in the Book of Ether (Ether 2:17) where the phrase "tight like unto a dish" is used like 27 times... I still remember well the day we covered it in seminary and hearing the "thrilled" voice of the one so lucky enough to be given the lot of reading the verse in class!

  2. Until you mentioned the Easter eggs, I didn't notice them! I counted four. Did I miss any?

    1. There were four! Good job. Krypto the super dog, the bottle city of Kandor, the framed American Gothic print (for Smallville), and a Pulitzer Prize on the bookshelf.

  3. I liked the nod to Apartment 3-G. It was actually the first thing I noticed! Coincidentally, Apartment 3-G was partly responsible for the name of Sis. Kerry Jo's debut comic strip, 121 — which was their apartment number.

Now you know the rest of the story.

    1. That is so cool about 121, which was superior in every way to Apartment 3-G.
