No More, Please
Whenever we host missionaries for dinner, we'll always let them fill their own plates. As I recall my own mission, this was a freedom that I never enjoyed. Perhaps it was cultural, but our host would always determine our servings. And they were always on the ready to give us seconds the moment our plate was empty. It made for some uncomfortable dinner appointments.

Post-COVID Stake Dance
Man, I drew this gag a year ago the last time we were convinced COVID was ending. That was obviously premature. Chances are it is still premature, yet here we are. Typically, I'd have no desire to chaperon a stake dance, but after a two-year pause, it might be fun to watch the extreme awkwardness of it all.

Your April 2022 General Conference Activity Packet
Poor Elder Green.
General Conference is almost upon us! Gear up for it by printing copies of my General Conference Activity Packet. This year, the packet is available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. (Big thanks to Dani Queiroz de Souza and Gaby Herrera for their translation work!)

In addition to the conference packet, I want to make sure you are aware of all the other resources available on this website.
The Ward Cartoonist Activity Page Newsletter is sent to inboxes every Friday morning. It includes a fun, new activity page every week for you to print off and share with your little ones. The newsletter is ideal for parents, grandparents, or primary teachers. Sign up for the free newsletter here.
I've got a number of books in print full of pages and pages of activities to entertain the young and young at heart for hours. You'll definitely want to check out the Old Testament Come, Follow Me Activity Book--with an activity page or two for each Come, Follow Me lesson covered in 2022. Also consider the Super Sunday Activity Book, the Scripture Power Activity Book, Now That I am Baptized: A Puzzle Book for LDS Kids, and the Puzzle Book for LDS Kids. If you'd rather laugh than solve puzzles, check out my compilation of missionary comic strips in Mission Daze.
If you've got an Apple device, check out LDS Scripture Heroes and the Book of Mormon Adventure apps.

Leprechaun Tithing
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Let's celebrate with Leprechaun comic. I love drawing these little guys--probably because their neck beards resemble the popular early Latter-day Saint look.

Poet and Prophet
That Isaiah employed Hebrew poetic techniques explains why his writings are so hard to understand--I barely understand poetry in my own language, let alone a foreign one.

Ward Newsletter
COVID seems to have killed the ward newsletter (as well as the ward sacrament bulletin) in my ward. I sometimes wonder if or when it will come back.
I have a vested interest in ward newsletters as I was a ward newsletter editor years ago. I can chart my success as a creator of activity pages back to my time working on the ward newsletter as I started adding puzzles to class it up (?) a bit. That calling has been the most profitable in my Church service.

Stand with Ukraine
I readily acknowledge that today's offering isn't even remotely funny. Honestly, this week, I don't feel like doing funny.
