White as Snow

In my neck of the woods, we've gotten about as much snow this winter as I can ever remember. Since we also happen to live in a desert suffering through a historic drought, this is not a bad thing.

The grumpy snow shoveler is referring to Isaiah 1:18, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
