Missionary Pop Culture Blind Spots

Even the most pop culture savvy missionary cannot possibly keep up with the pop culture going on during his or her mission (nor, would they). During my mission, for example, the TV show Friends premiered. As a result, to this day I've never understood what the appeal to that show is. Maybe if I'd been there.

Incidentally, when I first drew this particular gag, the references were already old. Now a decade later, they are practically ancient.
